Rights are an integral part of human civilization that we sometimes take for granted. But have you ever stopped to ask what rights actually are, what they mean, and why they matter? To explore this, we can break this subject into three key areas: The source of rights: \- Is there a universal set of rights that transcends culture and government? \- What is the most beneficial way to define and assign rights? The scope of rights: \- Are rights only relevant to humans? \- Do corporations or organizations deserve rights similar to individuals? The limits of rights: \- Should rights be taken away\, and if so\, under what circumstances? \- Can a majority vote to strip a minority of their rights?
